www2005 update - 12/05

Mostly I was following panels & tracks on "Web Search" , and decided not to have children.

Key note by Lorrie Cranor, & "Privacy & Semantic Web" session were interesting though.

Sounds interesting. Can't seem to make the connection between that and web search though.

I agreed to let them read & analyze all my mails, for 2gigs. (I didn't know, but I had priced some of critaical things in my privacy for 2 gigs) And they know my interests & people who i'm in contact & there interests. Hopefully this explains what's happening all around me including my desktop.

So in terms of privacy, I'm afraid of the future. Specially when considering about the amount of money involved (& will be involved) in this field.
